This is one of the softest and fluffiest comforters I have ever seen. If you run hot, this will make you hotter. It will not cool you down. I sleep with a fan on so it's perfect for me because I get hot and cold. I have a queen bed and bought the queen size. It does not drop to the sides as shown in the image so if you want that look, I suggest a king size instead. My bed is high so it could also be the reason. If your bed is lower to the floor then the queen size should be fine.
